We are inviting applications for multiple RESEARCH ENGINEER positions to undertake research in the context of industry-driven research projects in the following topic areas:
- Social
Network Analysis: Developing and evaluating techniques for efficient
analysis of very large and rapidly evolving social networks in order to
discover patterns of individual or collective user behavior.
- Adaptive User Interfaces: Applying data mining and machine learning techniques in order to discover user intentions at runtime and to adapt the delivery of online content accordingly.
- Application and Service Quality Monitoring: Applying static analysis and machine learning techniques in order to identify anomalies, misuses and re-design opportunities in Web applications and services.
Successful candidates will undertake leading-edge R&D tasks in the context of an international research team and in cooperation with the STACC industry partners. A competitive remuneration will be offered. There is possibility of undertaking PhD studies in parallel with this position. The position will be based either in Tartu or Tallinn.
The successful applicants will have:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information
Technology, Computer Engineering or a related field
- Strong software development skills
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency
in English
- Knowledge of algorithm design, data mining and/or statistics is desirable.
